Lisa Pearce, The RugLord

I’m an Urbanite that has always loved sheep.
Lisa Pearce, Ruglords
Despite settling near uptown Charlotte, North Carolina, I’m a country girl at heart. I grew up in a sleepy New Hampshire town where our childhood fun was raising and showing sheep in the 4-H Club. As little girls, we spent hours washing, trimming, and grooming our animals. Little did I know that 35 years later, those sheep would still find a way into my heart, through vintage rugs.
RugLords is, yes, a play on words and a reflection of my sense of humor. Let’s not take life too seriously!
I founded RugLords in 2017 to complement my job managing South End Exchange, an antique and consignment furniture store. Having been in the furniture and antique business for almost a decade, I saw a need for high-quality, hand-knotted, vintage, Turkish rugs with a low to moderate price tag.
As a “treasure hunter,” I’m obsessed with finding these beautiful and timeless vintage rugs. I have relationships with multiple Turkish rug vendors and enjoy hand selecting all of my products to meet today’s design styles and colors. RugLords specialize in vintage Oushak runners while also maintaining an inventory of area rugs.
RugLords has a large selection of rugs on display at South End Exchange and offers 24-hour approvals for local clients. We also package and ship worldwide. We work very hard on posting new and current inventory on our social media sites, particularly our FaceBook and Instagram story pages. You can always direct message me about any rugs that you see on social media or our website.
